WHAT IS COLLOIDAL SILVER?
Colloidal silver- the term (colloidal) refers to the size of a substance (silver particle-in this case) that consists of ultra fine particles that are suspended in a medium of different matter (distilled water-in this case). The particles of colloidal silver (using the electrolysis process) are typically 0.005 to 0.015 of a micron in size. The particles are so small that the force of their electric charge is stronger than that of the earths gravitational pull so they are able to stay in suspension almost indefinitely. Colloidal silver is generally rated by the ppm (parts per million). True colloidal silver should have a concentration of three to twenty ppm. Please be aware of products claiming higher concentrations. Higher concentrations of colloidal silver are not necessarily better and in fact the opposite is generally true. For colloidal silver to be affective the size of the particles is more important.

Question- What will I need to start making colloidal silver?
Answer- You will only need to supply a quart glass canning jar (or equivalent) and pure distilled water and four nine volt batteries or the optional AC adaptor. The colloidal generator kit includes everything else needed.
Question- Why is the EDS colloidal silver generator so easy to use?
Answer- The generator has a ten LED bar graph that is actually a calibrated, vary sensitive TDS (Total Dissolved solids) meter. The LED meter will slowly move up scale as the colloidal silver is being made. You will simply stop the process when the LED bar graph gets to the green section.
Question- How long does it take to make a quart of colloidal silver?
Answer- There are many variables that will determine the total time it will take to make a quart of colloidal silver. On average it will take approximately 20 minutes and can take as long as 5 hours. The time can vary, each and every time you make colloidal silver.
Question- Do you recommend adding a few grains of salt to speed the process up?
Answer- NO not at all. We recommend using only pure distilled water and never add salt or anything else, At all. If you use anything else but pure distilled water you will produce other byproducts that are not healthful.
Question- Will the pure silver rods wear out and will I have to get new ones at some point?
Answer- Yes eventually the pure silver rods will start to get pointy at the ends and very thin. By using the generator properly you will be able to make many, many gallons before you will have to replace the pure silver rods.
Question- How long will the batteries last and can I use the colloidal silver generator on the AC home outlet?
Answer- Because the time can vary greatly between each quart that is made, the battery life will also vary greatly.

TIP- You can heat up the pure distilled water before making the colloidal silver and this will shorten the amount of time to make a batch and you can get more life out of the batteries.
